Education Ministry Trains School Administrators in M&E, Procurement, Financial Management

GANTA, Nimba – The Ministry of Education has concluded a capacity building workshop for school administrators in the Bein-Garr education district ahead of the start of the school year.

At least 50 principals, registrars, and vice principals from both public and private schools were trained in academic monitoring and evaluation, procurement, and financial management.

At the close of the workshop, the lead facilitator, James Garwuo, urged participants to utilize the knowledge.

“We hope to see you apply this knowledge in your various institutions as per your assigned duties, as you are about to commence a new school year,” he said.

The initiative is the first of its kind in the history of the district and will be extended to Tappita, Buu-Yao, Twah River, Gbehlay-Geh, Saclepea-Mahn, and Sanniquellie-Mahn education districts, according to ministry officials.
