Send all entries to obituaries@bushchicken.com. We require that you include the following in your submission:
- A short summary not exceeding 150 words
- Photo of the person
- Full name of person (including “nicknameâ€)
- Date and residence at death
- Date and place of birth
In addition to those requirements, you may want to include the following information in the obituary:
- Parent’s, spouse’s, children’s and grandchildren’s names
- Previous residences
- Work history, education, and other professional accomplishments
- Clubs, hobbies or interests, volunteer activities
- Survivors or those who predeceased the person including immediate family, relatives, close friends
- Funeral service and wake information including dates, times, locations, and contact information
- If contributions or donations are being collected, provide information on where memorial contributions or donations may be made
