Live Wire with Leslie Lumeh

Leslie Lumeh, who has been labeled as “Liberia’s most celebrated artist” on CNN, sat for a painting session and conversation with The Bush Chicken.

Born in Dambala, Cape Mount, Lumeh has lived and worked in Monrovia from an early age. He is a self-taught professional who has made remarkable strides both locally and internationally over the 23-year span of his career as an artist, illustrator, cartoonist, and teacher, with many brilliant art projects to his credit.

The Bush Chicken’s Live Wire is a program where we invite Liberian artists to observe them practicing their crafts, followed by an interview.
