Monrovia to Host Third NGO Fair in November

MONROVIA, Montserrado – The Liberia International Non-governmental Organization Forum will be hosting its third NGO Fair in Monrovia. The fair will take place at the Paynesville City Hall on November 16 and will be held in collaboration with the National Civil Society Council of Liberia.

LINGO’s forum coordinator, Brenda Brewer Moore, disclosed to The Bush Chicken that the event would help promote and strengthen partnerships among international and national NGOs, donors, government institutions, and other stakeholders.

“During the program, over 50 local and international NGOs and civil society organizations will be there to showcase their programs, projects, and as well provide information on the future,” Brewer Moore said.

She said the organizations will also create public awareness about their roles and contributions they are making in the country. The event will be open to the public, including students. However, she said national and international NGOs would pay fees of US$50 and US$100, respectively, for display booths.
