The technical committee of the President Investigation Team tasked with investigating the circumstances around the allegedly missing billions in new banknotes has released its report to the public, recommending that all current Liberian dollar banknotes (new and old) be removed from the market and replaced.
Investigation Team Requests Six Weeks to Probe Into Alleged Missing Billions
On October 4, members of the Presidential Investigation Team set up by President George Weah to probe the alleged disappearance of billions in Liberian banknotes said they would take at least six weeks to conclude their investigation.
